Who Sin? Man or Satan

 What is sin?

Sin is an immoral act considered to be transgression against divine law.(1 John 3:4)

Sin according to the scripture is act or omission against God by despising his person and Christian biblical law and by extention to others. Hence rebellion against God and neighbors(Deuteronomy 9:7, Joshua 1:18)

SATAN SINNED

Who is Satan?

Satan was once an archangel who once sat before the throne of God. He lost his position before God the very moment inequity was found in him (Ezik. 28:15). He was the author and architect of sin and rebellion against God; he led other Angel's to rebel against God (Rev. 12:7-9) and deceived man to sin against God (Gen. 3:1-5)

Luke 10:18 describes Satan as "LIGHTNING FALL FROM HEAVEN".

Jesus in Luke 10:18 further noted the defeat of satan and how he has been casted down to earth from his previous position cf (Rev.12:9), this is to teach Christian people how powerless the satan has become.

Also  John 8:44 referred to Satan as a murderer and a liar from the beginning; he made Cain to murder his brother and lied to the woman regarding God's instructions in the garden.

Man Sinned :

In Romans 5:12-14, Apostle Paul stated that sin entered into the world through one man called Adam and sin will also be taken out of this world through another man called Jesus Christ.

Adam was the first man created by God,of which he was givey Dominion to rule, God instructed him to eat everything in the garden except the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Adam disobeyed God by eating from the forbidden tree through the lies and deceit of satan, this was how man sinned and this was how sin entered the world. Satan was the author and architect of sin, he introduced sin to man at the garden and through this one man, sin entered into the world and we all who are the descendant of Adam has sin and come short of the glory of God but thank God for the man Jesus who is the second Adam that came and delivered us from this curse of sin and death that the devil caused upon man.

And what a difference between man's sin and God's forgiveness! For this one man, Adam, brought death to many through his sin. But this one man, Jesus Christ, brought forgiveness to many through God's mercy. Adam's one sin brought the penalty of death to many, while Christ freely takes away many sins and gives glorious life instead. The sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to be king over all, but all who will take God's gift of forgiveness and acquittal are kings of life because of this one man, Jesus Christ. Yes, Adam's sin brought punishment to all, but Christ's righteousness makes men right with God, so that they can live. Adam caused many to be sinners because he disobeyed God, and Christ caused many to be made acceptable to God because he obeyed. (Romans 5:15-19|LIVING-

Apostle Paul summarized the entire point when He noted that it was as a result of Adams disobedient (which was caused by listening to the lies and deceit of the satan) that sin entered into the world, but by Christ obedience (by dying on the cross) that sin is taken out of the world.

From all indication we can see that satan was the Pioneer of transgression against God, he sinned in eternity but man sin in time, satan judgment is already concluded for there is no forgiveness for his sin but man sin is pardonable through the saving blood of Jesus Christ to all who believe.

Prayers: Loving and forgiving God, thank You for the gift of Your Holy Son Jesus Christ, thank You because through Him, all things has been made new, thank You for He has disarmed the devil and has given victory to us all; look mercifully upon us miserable offenders and release Your grace to keep us faithful and rapturable through the saving grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who died, lives again and reigns with You in company of Your Holy Angel's, one God forever and ever. Amen.
