THE LOVE OF GOD

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. (2 Corinthians 13:14|KJV-

The Love of God is God's compassion for mankind, He loved the world and all that is in it and sent His son Jesus Christ to salvage it from destruction.

How can we measure the love of God?

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. (Romans 5:8-11|KJV-

The love of God is not something we can measure or say, He loved us ahead of time, before we became sinners and while we were yet sinners He loves us and died for our sake. His love demonstrated on the cross brought us justification and sanctification.

Will God Love the world forever?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16-18|KJV-

God's love for this world is to save it from the coming destruction. Destruction will come upon this earth one day, and because of His love, He died to save the world, he gave mankind an open check to believe just in Him and escape the condemnation.
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. ... The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. (2 Peter 3:7,9-10|KJV-

Dear friends, God is love and His love leads to patience and long suffering unto sinners. For God's love towards this world wont last forever as He has reserved for Himself a day to bring judgement upon the earth and love and mercy won't be part of His nature in that day. His love is available to us now to believe in Him and turn away from evil ways because one day He will be sitting as a judge of the earth and a consuming fire and there will be no love and mercy for unbelievers.
