Where your treasure is...(Understanding Kingdom Investment)

Matthew 6:21
[21]Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.

Anglican Hyminal A&M Revised 296
1. Guide me, O thou great Redeemer,
pilgrim though this barren land;
I am weak, but thou art mighty;
hold me with thy powerful hand;
Bread of heaven,
feed me now and evermore.

2. Open now the crystal fountain,
whence the healing stream doth flow;
let the fiery cloudy pillar
lead me all my journey through;
strong Deliverer,
be thou still my Strength and Shield.

3. When I tread the verge of Jordan,
bid my anxious fears subside;
death of death, and hell's destruction,
land me safe on Canaan's side;
songs of praises,
I will ever give to thee.
The first understanding we allowed need to have is that we all are visitors to this earth and will one day depart from it. The main issue that brought about this statement in vs 21 by Jesus is to direct us on how to invest our living while on earth.

This system of investment demands that only where you invest that you can be after life here on earth, these are the words of Christ: Matthew 6:19-20
[19]“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal.
[20]Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy,
and thieves do not break in and steal.

It follows that if a man venue of investment is earth, his heart and attentions will be based on the earth and if a man venue of investment is heaven, his heart and attentions will be based on heaven.

Jesus Christ brought proper understanding to this investment in vs. 21, the investment is not an investment of silver and gold rather it is an investment of the heart. The craving of your heart tells the venue of your investment; for sure no one can see your heart but God is the one who searches the heart and knows everyone's intention before they became an action.

The intentions of the heart can be visible sometimes through the physical manifestation of the body while we interact on earth. So if your treasure is in heaven, we will understand it through the physical manifestation of your living while God will understand it through your heart and living.

No man on earth can understand the heart of a man but only God, so we can determine where ones heart lies only by physical manifestation that's why you cannot judge others because God is the one that sees the heart and tries the mind.

Finally, Christ through this teaching has established a spiritual law that anyone who stores his treasure here on earth by loving the world and the things of this world will reap it in hell and anyone who invest his life and living on the things above through righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost will reign with the Father for eternity.

Prayers
Merciful God our righteous judge, direct the thought of our hearts and the words of our mouth that in living we will live for you and you alone, help us to understand your thoughts towards us that in dying we will find rest for all our labour here on earth through the loving grace of your dear Son Jesus Christ the Son of the Virgin! Amen.
