The Parable of the Sower

This parable is contained in Mathew 13:1-8; 3 [KJV]And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;4 [KJV]And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:5 [KJV]Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:6 [KJV]And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.7 [KJV]And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:8 [KJV]But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.9 [KJV]Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.10 [KJV]And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?11 [KJV]He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.12 [KJV]For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.13 [KJV]Therefore speak I to them in parables: because 
they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Lessons from the Parable of the Sower

  • Just as many people gathered to hear Jesus Christ, so there are many around us today who hunger for things of the Spirit. 
  • Just as the sower who went out to sow, there is need in our generation today for you and me to go out and sow the word of God first in the hearts of men and secondly into the systems of the world
  • The word of God when preach to people is better to be communicated in a language by which understanding can be effective so that the word will not fall on the road side where fouls will come and pick them.
  • When anyone after hearing the word of God and been convicted of his sin, follow up is necessary so as to sustain the zeal and passion to continue in the Lord. 
  • The word of God when received and mixed with faith subdue worries of this life.
  • You are God's workmanship, His hands and feet; there are many souls depending on you to plant the word of God in their lives, do not delay because God is counting on you in your sphere of life.
Finally, the word of God should be preached with simplicity and power and the entrance of it must be mixed with faith for there to be a positive out come.

Prayers 
Almighty and our Heavenly Father, send us into your vain yard and grant us with every good thing to carry the gospel of Christ in all our endeavour. Lord we ask that you fill us with the Holy Spirit whom is the greatest teacher, that the word will be preach with simplicity and power. May an unshakeable faith come upon every soul that hears this word of life that through it all thanks and honour be ascribe unto you Jesus Christ our Redeemer! Amen

Who Sin? Man or Satan

 What is sin? Sin is an immoral act considered to be transgression against divine law.(1 John 3:4) Sin according to the scripture is act or omission against God by despising his person and Christian biblical law and by extention to others. Hence rebellion against God and neighbors(Deuteronomy 9:7, Joshua 1:18) SATAN SINNED Who is Satan? Satan was once an archangel who once sat before the throne of God. He lost his position before God the very moment inequity was found in him (Ezik. 28:15). He was the author and architect of sin and rebellion against God; he led other Angel's to rebel against God (Rev. 12:7-9) and deceived man to sin against God (Gen. 3:1-5) Luke 10:18 describes Satan as "LIGHTNING FALL FROM HEAVEN".
