I am the Way, the Truth and the Life... (Understanding Kingdom Principles)

1. Lead us, heavenly Father, lead us
o'er the world's tempestuous sea;
guard us, guide us, keep us, feed us,
for we have no help but thee;
yet possessing every blessing,
if our God our Father be.

2. Savior, breathe forgiveness o'er us;
all our weakness thou dost know;
thou didst tread this earth before us;
thou didst feel its keenest woe;
lone and dreary, faint and weary
through the desert thou didst go.

3. Spirit of our God, descending,
fill our hearts with heavenly joy;
love with every passion blending
pleasure that can never cloy;
thus provided, pardoned, guided,
nothing can our peace destroy.

Haven understood that Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us, how then can we get to the place which He has gone to prepare, this was the question bothering Thomas that made Jesus responded that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through Him.

Jesus as the Way: this is the very understanding that Jesus alone is the only authorised access to the Father. You cannot see the Father without seeing Jesus first; He noted in verse 7 [Darby]If ye had known me, ye would have known also my Father, and henceforth ye know him and have seen him.

Jesus alone knows and lead the way to eternal life, no man can help himself or his fellow man but Jesus alone. There is no shortcut to the Father, all you need is to patiently and obediently follow the leading of Christ through the help of the Holy Spirit and you will find rest for your soul.

Jesus is the Truth: the truth about Jesus which every man must accept and believe before having access to the Father is the Fact that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

In our generation today, many religious worshippers find it difficult to believe this fact which is the truth about Jesus and the bible recorded in 1John 2: [22 [KJV]Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.. 23 [KJV]Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

So it is practically impossible to get to the Father without believing in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. It is a settled conviction every believer must hold on to to have eternal life.

Jesus Christ is Life: from the moment you surrender your life to do the will of God, the life you now live henceforth is expected to be a life of Christ and His life was characterised with humility and obedience for the bible recorded that though He was equally with God yet He never consider equality with Him.

Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life because anyone who believes in Him, even if he dies such a person shall live again. So let us live with Joy of eternity because Jesus by His power will raise us up from the dead to do His

King of glory, the I am that I am. Thank you because those who put they trust in you can never be moved, thank you because when it seems that we are all lost on our own you brought us together with an endless love of the Father. Lord we cannot do these things on our own we need you to lead and guide us till we reach that perfect day through Jesus Christ our Lord! Amen

Sin is an immoral act considered to be transgression against divine law.(1 John 3:4) Sin according to the scripture is act or omission against God by despising his person and Christian biblical law and by extention to others.
