The Model of Cain

 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him ? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. (1 John 3:11-12|KJV-



It is the law of God that we should love the Lord our God with all our heart and with all our strength, secondly is that we should love our neighbors just as ourselves. This is the model of Christ. 

Cain took from his father the devil which Apostle John in our passage described as the wicked one. He claimed Abel to be his brother and neighbor but lacked the brotherly love that was preached from the beginning. 

In chapter 4 of Genesis, he appeared before the Lord with Abel to offer sacrifice, but due to the fact that He is of that wicked one, his sacrifice was rejected but Abel's own was accepted because he is of the righteous one. This is to teach us of two categories of persons in Church of Jesus Christ, the first set are cain's model; they know how to offer the best sacrifices but with a wrong heart, they are in all departments in the Church rendering clean services but they is something about them that God can't just accept they sacrifice. The second category models after Christ whose sacrifice is perfect and once for all. 

God expect us as Christian people to live in love with one another, for anyone who does not love his brother is a murderer. It is our responsibility to do everything within us to live at peace with one another, no one can claim to love God when he hate his brother. In this 2022, be intentional about loving people around you, learn to live peacefully and quietly among one another. Love someone and mean it from your heart. 

Finally, beware of Cain's, they come to you as your brother and neighbor, claim to be of the same father our Lord but has no regard for the word of God. Do you recall that God even preached to cain in vs. 6-7 yet cain did not listen to God's word but yet cornered Abel to the field and killed him there. These men claim to be among us but they are not with us, they might be smiling with you but they hearts are full of evil. It is my prayer for you this year that the Good Lord will grant us the grace to love and live in peace with one another and to keep us from every unfriendly friend through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Who Sin? Man or Satan

 What is sin? Sin is an immoral act considered to be transgression against divine law.(1 John 3:4) Sin according to the scripture is act or omission against God by despising his person and Christian biblical law and by extention to others. Hence rebellion against God and neighbors(Deuteronomy 9:7, Joshua 1:18) SATAN SINNED Who is Satan? Satan was once an archangel who once sat before the throne of God. He lost his position before God the very moment inequity was found in him (Ezik. 28:15). He was the author and architect of sin and rebellion against God; he led other Angel's to rebel against God (Rev. 12:7-9) and deceived man to sin against God (Gen. 3:1-5) Luke 10:18 describes Satan as "LIGHTNING FALL FROM HEAVEN".
