Third week of Prayers: 15 April, 2019- The Church of Christ.
The cornerstone of the church was laid by the power of the Holy Spirit through His revelation to Peter about Christ in Mathew 16:18. It was upon the understanding that Jesus is the Christ, Son of the living God that the church was commissioned.

1. The Church's one foundation
is Jesus Christ her Lord;
she is his new creation,
by water and the word:
from heaven he came and sought her
to be his holy bride;
with his own blood he bought her,
and for her life he died.
2. Elect from every nation,
yet one o'er all the earth,
her charter of salvation,
one Lord, one faith, one birth;
one holy Name she blesses,
partakes one holy food,
and to one hope she presses,
with every grace endued.
3. Though with a scornful wonder
men see her sore oppressed,
by schisms rent asunder,
by heresies distrest;
yet saints their watch are keeping,
their cry goes up, "How long?"
and soon the night of weeping
shall be the morn of song.
4. Mid toil and tribulation,
and tumult of her war
she waits the consummation
of peace for evermore;
till with the vision glorious
her longing eyes are blest,
and the great Church victorious
shall be the Church at rest.
5. Yet she on earth hath union
with God, the Three in one,
and mystic sweet communion
with those whose rest is won.
O happy ones and holy!
Lord, give us grace that we
like them, the meek and lowly,
on high may dwell with thee. Amen
Almighty God we thank you for yet another week to come before you with our needs and petitions, blessed Redeemer thank you for your grace upon your church. Thank you because in a time like this you came down from Heave to die for the church so that you will be the first born among the dead.
Almighty Father, just as you triumphantly entered Jerusalem as a king, we ask that you triumph over the church; enter our hearts in a very special way, cause this church here on earth to be blessed as the church above so that we will endure with all goodness patience and long-suffering in the days to come.
Father we ask for the Spirit of Unity and oneness to come upon the church, we ask for your grace to live faithfully in view of your coming in glory, we ask that you equip us with the zeal and passion to love one another in heart and in service.
My Lord the church shall continue to match on and the gates of hell shall never prevail against it; every agenda from the pit of hell to divert the attention of the church from that which it's being called will not stand in the name of Jesus Christ name! Amen. Thank you blessed Christ because you are working in all things for good in Jesus Christ name we have pray! Amen.
