National Week of Prayers: Day 3, 12 April 2019

Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name, thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our Sins as we for give those who sin against us, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for the Kingdom, the Power, the Glory are all yours now and for ever! Amen.

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side,let Israel now say,

 then they would have swallowed us up alive,when their wrath was kindled against us;

 then the waters would have overwhelmed us,the stream would have gone over our soul;

Thanksgiving 

In Jesus name, Amen! Everlasting God the sustainer of life, we thank you because it has pleased you to spare our lives as individuals and granted us victory and protection as a nation. Indeed you are a Father over us; we love the way you Father us, continue to guide us great Jehovah that all the ends of the earth shall fear thee to the glory of your Holy name Jesus Christ our Lord! Amen 

Petitions 

Lord of Host, King of kings and LORD of lords, you alone knows the enemies of Nigeria, you know those that have continued to wage war over this nation, you know them that has refused sleep until they destroy the peace and unity of this nation; ranging from Boko- Haram to Heralds men, kidnappers and of recently Banditry. Oh Lord arise in your terror and contend with as many that contend with Nigeria, Lord break their bows and shatter their spares for the sake of your elite in this nation in Jesus name! Amen 

Supplications 

Father of Love we remember before you Leah your faithful daughter who has been in the hands of her adaptors for over a year now for refusing to deny her faith in Christ Jesus. Lord of Host you said that we should be still and know that you are God; indeed the state and federal government has failed us in this aspect and we trust in your saving power to deliver her. Lord we ask for your intervention that all the ends of the earth will fear thee.

Closing Prayers 

 As you have participated in praying for your nation in a time like this, the good Lord will perfect all that concerns you, may He look down from His Heaven and hear our prayers by the mercies of His Spirit, may the Lord rule over the earth and may His glory be established in all land that all men will tremble and fear His awsome majesty, and may the Peace of God which passes all understand keep our hearts and mind in the knowledge and love of God and of His Son JESUS Christ, the blessings of God Almighty, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit be with us and remain with us always! Amen.
