Fifth Week of Prayers: Families- 29th April 2019

1. O perfect Love, all human

 thought transcending,

lowly we kneel in prayer before thy

 throne,

that theirs may be the love which 

knows no ending,

whom thou forevermore dost join

 in one.

2. O perfect Life, be thou their full 

assurance,

of tender charity and steadfast faith,

of patient hope and quiet, brave 

endurance,

with childlike trust that fears nor

 pain nor death.

3. Grant them the joy which brightens

 earthly sorrow;

grant them the peace which calms 

all earthly strife,

and to life's day the glorious unknown

 morrow

that dawns upon eternal love and 

life.

Prayer Guide: use your family as a point of contact to every families all over the world, pray that the good Lord will establish peace and love in our homes especially those homes where the devil is planting seed of divorce and divisions. 

Romans 9:4 “…the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption to sonship; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises.” 

Acts 10:2 “He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.” 

Genesis 33:5 “Then Esau looked up and saw the women and children. “Who are these with you?” he asked. Jacob answered, “They are the children God has graciously given your servant.”

Prayers:

Lord of Mercy, we thank you for the gift of family which through your death on the cross united us into one holy family when you said "woman behold thy son and Son behold thy mother ". We are grateful to the fact that you have not left nor forsaken us. 

Lord I commend my lovely family as a point of contact to every other families and I pronounce the favour and blessings of God upon our homes, Lord I pray for as many that are looking for the fruit of the womb that the same God that opened the womb of Hannah and Rachel will visit them according to the time of life in Jesus Christ name! Amen 

Lord you made us to understand that Christ alone is the sold rock while every other ground is sinking sand; we pray and establish every homes in Christ Jesus, we pray for those homes threaten with divorce and we ask that the God of Unity will plant the seed of Unity and love upon the hearts of these families. We pray for those passing through difficulties in feeding, clothing, shelter etc that the Almighty God will make a way for them.

We remember those families whose love ones has been displaced or unjustly killed especially in the Northern Nigeria that the good Lord will deliver and reunite these families and comfort them with everything good through Jesus Christ our Lord! Amen
