THAT WHICH IS IN YOUR HAND: Maximising your Gift

“No man came to this world empty handed and non will go with something“- chidiwhite.

What is that in your hand? Can you open your hands and show it? yes there is something there in you that makes you different from others .

That which is in your hands is great and unique, all you need to do is to open your heart and mind to discover it.

That which is in your hand is an instrument to changing lives, changing nations and changing the world, why do you want it to be a waste?

That which is in your hand is an untapped potential that if put to use, will make your days on earth fulfilling.

Moses never knew what is in his hands until God commanded him to lay it down before pharaoh and he was marvelled at what he saw, Exd. 4:3

You will marvel at the discovery of the potentials the creator has deposited in you for the service of men and glory to His Kingdom.

Just Open your heart and mind today and discover that special gift from your creator, the world and generation to come needs it.

 The first thing is to discover that you have something of value that your creator deposited in you, effective utilization and maximization is the next that is expected of you, putting it into better use to heal the world around you.

Opportunities are rear circumstances that occurs per chance, it is sad that many don’t know when opportunity comes their way; the certain fact is that opportunity comes our ways at it due time. The big question that beg for answer is, what do you have to offer in your moment of opportunity?

The essence of opportunity is to give us speed and bring us before great men. Many miss this Golden time simply because they have not discover the true meaning of living. Even some who have discovered themselves miss it on account of fear and timidly.

To seize your moment of opportunity in life, you must be ready to stand against all odds, delete the word ” impossible in your vocabulary ” and remain optimistic everyday of your pursuit of Purpose.

In the Beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, but knowing that the earth is not complete without man, God included man and also engaged him into the creation process.

We are created to create things, your creator has sent you to the planet Earth, to the country where you reside today to be a problem solver.

Let's look at few examples in the scriptures

Peter and John: Good News Translation Acts 3:1-8 One day Peter and John went to the Temple at three o'clock in the afternoon, the hour for prayer. 

There at the Beautiful Gate, as it was called, was a man who had been lame all his life. Every day he was carried to the gate to beg for money from the people who were going into the Temple. When he saw Peter and John going in, he begged them to give him something. 

They looked straight at him, and Peter said, “Look at us!” So he looked at them, expecting to get something from them. But Peter said to him, “I have no money at all, but I give you what I have: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I order you to get up and walk!” 

Then he took him by his right hand and helped him up. At once the man's feet and ankles became strong; he jumped up, stood on his feet, and started walking around. Then he went into the Temple with them, walking and 
jumping and praising God.

Joseph: Genesis 41:8 When morning came, he was upset. He sent for all the magicians and sages of Egypt. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but they couldn't interpret them to him.

Genesis 41:9 The head cupbearer then spoke up and said to Pharaoh, "I just now remembered something - I'm sorry, I should have told you this long ago.

Genesis 41:10 Once when Pharaoh got angry with his servants, he locked me and the head baker in the house of the captain of the guard.

Genesis 41:11 We both had dreams on the same night, each dream with its own meaning.

Genesis 41:12 It so happened that there was a young Hebrew slave there with us; he belonged to the captain of the guard. We told him our dreams and he interpreted them for us, each dream separately.

Genesis 41:13 Things turned out just as he interpreted. I was returned to my position and the head baker was impaled."

Genesis 41:14 Pharaoh at once sent for Joseph. They brought him on the run from the jail cell. He cut his hair, put on clean clothes, and came to Pharaoh.

And so many other examples talk of Daniel, David etc. The gift of a man, when discovered and put into effective use will certainly make room and bring one to a place of greatness. 

The point of discovery is that very moment in your life that this life you are living is not your own, it is the very moment you started living to carry out compassion, loving a world that is broken, been the hands and feet of others, it is when you start giving, with the life that you have been given and going beyond religion, tribe and language to see this world been changed. Remember it can only be by the power of him who created you.

Faithful God we thank you for the grace you have given to us in a time like this; Lord as our faces are different so are our gifts, help us oh Lord to discover that which you have put inside of us and give us the enablement to use them to the benefit of Mankind and to the glory of your Holy name Jesus Christ our Lord!
