His kingdom cannot fail;
He rules o’er earth and heav’n;
The keys of death and hell
Are to our Jesus giv’n:

Jesus, the Savior reigns,
The God of truth and love:
When He had purged our stains
He took His seat above:

Our God is true! He cannot lie neither is the a man that He will repent. Christ is the way the Truth and the Life and remember no one comes to the Father except through Him. The access to eternal life salvation is with Him. There is no other name given among names by which we shall be save except the name of Jesus Christ!
He alone holds the Key of David (the power of life and death) which He collected from the devil when He descended to hell. The amazing fact of this key is that Christ through His love has given us this key, see how the scriptures put it...
And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of the heavens; and whatsoever thou mayest bind upon the earth shall be bound in the heavens; and whatsoever thou mayest loose on the earth shall be loosed in the heavens. Bible (Darby Translation) - Matthew - Chapter 16:19
Christ is the authority we have as believers, it is by His name that matters are settled here on earth and in heave; I don't know what you are facing today in your life but the name of Jesus is an authority above every authorities. By His name every kneels bow in heaven and on earth and every tongue confess the Lordship of Jesus Christ to the glory of God the Father.
This key when discovered and effectively engaged, it opens every doors and not even the devil and his cohort can shut the door He open; the devil cannot even open the door that He closed. Our Lord is King, no one can stand against Him, no one can assault His throne, no one can steal His Glory.
Colossians 2:14 the slate wiped clean, that old arrest warrant canceled and nailed to Christ's Cross.
Colossians 2:15 He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets.
Christ gave the enemies a total and public disgrace! And has given us His children that same power to exercise here on earth. There is no more barriers between heavens and earth because a YES on earth is a yes in heaven and a NO on earth is a no in heaven. This is how we rule in this Kingdom.
Spiritual facts and life time lessons
Jesus Christ through His death has disarmed the devil and all his agents for life. Making him (devil) powerless and making the Victory of Christ total.
Infact the resurrection of Christ is the prove that Christ won and His ascension is a further prove that we have gone beyond fighting.
So know it today that the devil is a roaring lion, powerless and helpless. He cannot offer you anything good neither can he help you in anyway. Christ victory over Him should always be replayed in your life whenever the devil comes around to boast or tempt you. Be very conversant with the total Victory of Christ and the Key (authority) which He has given to His church.
PrayersHoly God! Our merciful and sovereign Judge. Thank you for your total defeat over the rulers of this age. Thank you for the complete access given to us to access you here on earth. Thank you because whatsoever be our living here on earth is noted in heaven and whatsoever we seek of you in heaven is done here on earth. We pray you oh God to open wide the way that leads on high and close the doors of misery. To the glory and honour of your name, Jesus Christ the Son of the virgin! Amen.
